(1) If the driver needs a copy of the driver's license, he must submit an application in the format according to Schedule-31 to the office that issues such driver's license along with the fee as per Schedule-3.
(2) If an application is made in accordance with sub-rule (1), the office shall carry out the necessary investigation in relation to such application and if deemed necessary to give a copy of the driver's license as per the request of the applicant, subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation, the office shall give a copy of the driver's license and record the same in the driver's license registration book as per Schedule-27.
